Have you tried Skin Icing?
Ice Ice Baby
Cryotherapy, commonly known as cold therapy, is the use of ice cubes to massage the skin. The science behind it is to reduce your skin temperature, which in turn helps with multiple concerns like inflammation, open pores, puffiness and so on.
This is a technique that I often use in my facials for its ability to close pores, send blood away from the surface of skin, relax facial muscles and give dull skin a boost.
This is a great tip to do at home if you are suffering from inflamed, angry breakouts, redness or you need to perk your skin up before an event. Gently massage 2 ice cubes over cleansed skin, concentrating on any areas of redness, inflammation and breakout. Follow with moisturiser and makeup.
Icing can also be done on top of a sheet mask or right before your serum application to help with better penetration of products. If you suffer from extremely dry skin, try applying your moisturiser first. The ice will close the pores and trap the moisturiser into the skin giving you deeper hydration.
