Social Media Coordinator – Part Time

Noody · The Facialist · GULP Skin

We are looking for a creative and organised Social Media Coordinator to join our team and help bring three growing New Zealand brands to life across social media.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who genuinely loves social media, has a strong creative eye, and enjoys creating content that looks great while also delivering results.

You’ll work across Noody, The Facialist and GULP Skin — three distinct brands within the beauty, skincare and personal care space — creating content, managing our social channels and helping us continue to grow engaged communities around each brand.

About Our Brands

Noody is a New Zealand-made kids' personal care brand, created by parents who wanted gentle, effective products that work for sensitive skin.

The Facialist is a multi-award-winning Auckland facial clinic specialising in advanced facial treatments and skincare, with a strong reputation for exceptional client experiences and results.

GULP Skin is a New Zealand-made skincare brand founded by facialist Ashleigh Scott, built around a simple philosophy: fewer, better products that work hard for your skin.
We are a small, passionate team with high standards, big ideas and genuine care for the brands and content we put into the world.

About the Role

As Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day social media presence of all three brands across Instagram, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
You’ll plan, shoot, edit and publish content, manage content calendars and work closely with our Marketing Manager on campaigns, product launches and brand activations.
We’re looking for someone who can think beyond simply creating a beautiful post. You’ll understand how great social content builds brand recognition, creates engagement and ultimately helps drive growth.
This is a hands-on creative role, so you’ll be just as comfortable picking up your phone and filming content as you are planning a calendar, writing a caption or reviewing what performed well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning, creating, shooting and editing social content across Noody, The Facialist and GULP Skin
  • Creating content for Instagram, TikTok and paid social
  • Writing captions, hooks and social copy in the individual tone of each brand
  • Managing and maintaining social media content calendars
  • Scheduling and publishing content across platforms
  • Identifying successful content and adapting or repurposing it across different formats and channels
  • Supporting campaign, product launch and activation content
  • Reviewing social media performance and using insights to improve future content
  • Supporting community management and engagement across each brand
  • Staying across relevant social media trends and bringing fresh ideas to the team
  • Working closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure content aligns with wider brand and marketing priorities
  • Appearing in content from time to time where appropriate

About You

You will be:
  • Creative, enthusiastic and full of ideas
  • Someone with a strong visual eye and a natural understanding of what makes engaging social content
  • Confident using Instagram and TikTok and interested in understanding how content performs
  • Commercially minded and able to think about what content is achieving for the brand, not simply how it looks
  • Confident shooting and editing content on a phone
  • Experienced with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple brands and projects at once
  • Proactive, collaborative and comfortable taking ownership of your work
  • Able to adapt your creative style and tone of voice across three very different brands
  • Comfortable occasionally appearing in front of the camera
Previous experience in social media, content creation or a similar role would be an advantage, but we are open to different levels of experience. A strong creative eye, great attitude and genuine passion for social media are just as important to us.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to work across three exciting and growing New Zealand brands
  • A creative role with plenty of opportunity to bring your own ideas to the table
  • A supportive, collaborative and relaxed team environment
  • Product and treatment benefits across our brands
  • The opportunity to build experience across beauty, skincare, wellness and consumer brands
  • A hybrid working environment
