Gua Sha

The Facialist Gua Sha is our stainless steel facial massage tool, for anyone who wants to bring a few minutes of facial massage into their routine at home.

The flat edges glide over skin with a facial oil, while the pointed edge works around the eyes and brow bone. Long, gentle strokes help skin feel relaxed and looking refreshed, and the massage helps the face and jaw feel less tense.

• Start at the neck, stroking down towards the collarbones
• Glide from chin along the jawline to the ears
• Sweep from mouth corners along the cheekbones
• Finish under the eyes and across the forehead to the temples

Facialist's note: massage 2 to 4 drops of The Facialist Glow Oil into skin first. Hold the tool at 15 to 30 degrees and repeat each stroke 5 to 10 times per side.

• Massage 2–4 drops of The Facialist Glow Oil into the skin so the tool glides.
• Hold the tool at a 15–30 degree angle and use light strokes, 5–10 times per area, one side at a time.
• Neck: stroke down from just under the jaw towards the collarbones. Jaw: glide from the centre of the chin along the jawline to the ear.
• Cheeks: glide from the corner of the mouth along the cheekbone to the ear. Eyes: with the pointed edge, glide from the inner corner out to the temple.
• Forehead and brows: glide from the centre out to the temples, then press gently along the brow bone from the centre outwards.

Packed at the studio and sent within one to two business days. New Zealand delivery takes two to three working days, tracked, and is free over $150. Australia takes seven to ten working days.
