PRO by Déesse PRO is the original hard-shell LED face mask, built with what the brand calls precision Korean engineering and 770 LED bulbs. It suits all skin types and tones.

It uses four wavelengths across six modes: Rejuvenating (red 630nm), Purifying (blue 415nm), Brightening (green 520nm), Post Procedure (near-infrared 830nm with red and blue), Calming (blue 415nm with green 520nm) and Rejuvenating Express (high-intensity red 630nm). A controller sets the mode, power and session time, from 5 to 30 minutes. Eye goggles and silicone eye inserts are included.

Facialist's note: cleanse first so no sunscreen or cream sits on the skin. Most modes run 10 to 20 minutes.

Cleanse and exfoliate first, removing all sunscreen, skincare and creams. Keep the eye protection in place.
Fit the mask with the straps (remove them if lying down), connect the controller, choose a mode and boost the power if wanted.
Set the time and press start: 10 to 20 minutes for most modes, 10 minutes for Rejuvenating Express.
Intensive course: twice a week for 4 weeks, then once a week for 4 weeks. After that, weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
Don't use Post Procedure mode after heat-based treatments. Read the manual's warnings before first use.
