Summer Skin Saviours

Summer Skin Saviours

After a few weeks in the sun (hopefully, you got some!), sand, and chlorine, your skin may be feeling a little worse for wear...

Excess heat and humidity can make the skin sticky and oily while sunscreen and other pollutants build up causing congestion. Alongside chapped lips and pigmentation; All a sign that the sun has taken much-needed moisture from the skin and it needs a bit of love to get back that beautiful juicy glow.

See a few post-summer-skin reminders and tips below...

Start with a good exfoliating treatment to remove the buildup of dead, dull skin as well as break down any congestion or build-up.

The Gentle Enzyme Peel is great for sensitive skin, while the Active Enzyme Exfoliator is great if your skin is congested, textured, or dry.

Glow Oil

Add a Face Oil

So nourishing! It’s important to get much-needed lipids back into the skin to ensure the barrier remains healthy and intact whilst keeping the skin plump and luminous.

Try Glow Oil on top of your serum and moisturizer, morning and evening.

Keep your water game strong and make sure you’re getting at least 2 litres per day.

I recommend adding 2 teaspoons of Two Islands Skin Hydration Elixir to supercharge your water with a yummy berry flavour that helps to reduce melasma, and hyperpigmentation, while increasing skin radiance and hydration.

Sunscreen. Always.

It's so important, a skincare fundamental, don't-leave-home-without-it: Keep up the SPF! Finding the perfect mix of consistency, finish, and effectiveness, my favorite suncare products are the Uberzinc from Synergie and Emma Lewisham Skin Shield.
