A retinal night serum with 0.1% retinaldehyde, for normal, oily, combination and mature skin that has already used Crystal Retinal 6. Medik8 ranks it as the advanced step on its ladder, so it is not a first vitamin A.

Retinaldehyde (retinal) is a form of vitamin A that works faster than standard retinol and softens the look of fine lines, uneven tone and texture. Medik8's patented stability system keeps the retinal effective to the last drop. Hyaluronic acid and glycerin hydrate, and vitamin E adds antioxidant protection.

Facialist's note: use at least one tube of Crystal Retinal 6 before moving up. Apply 2 pumps at night, follow with moisturiser, and always wear sunscreen the next morning.

How to use
  • Use in the evening, after cleansing: 2 pumps over face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
  • Let it absorb, then follow with moisturiser such as Advanced Night Restore.
  • Moving up from Crystal Retinal 6, no phase-in is needed. New to Crystal Retinal: twice a week for 2 weeks, every other night for 2 weeks, then nightly.
  • Always wear sunscreen the next morning.
  • Medik8 recommends avoiding vitamin A when pregnant or breastfeeding.

Packed at the studio and sent within one to two business days. New Zealand delivery takes two to three working days, tracked, and is free over $150. Australia takes seven to ten working days.
